bullet The class directory is underway!  The Reunion Committee needs to put together two lists: contact information for mailings and e-mailings of information about and the invitations to the 50th along with the information each classmate would like to have listed in the directory that Ellen Dillingham Heemer is preparing (both hardcopy and CD) for distribution at the 50th Information has been sent to e-mail addresses. If you've misplaced the e-mail or the mailed form, here's another form with easy directions. You can also do this on-line at Survey Monkey.  Information should be sent to Richard Harris by January 6, 2008. If you didn't make that deadline, send it along now!
 
bulletFriday plans include a very casual get together at the Cadillac Bar (1802 North Shepherd) for food and conversation. There will be a small entry charge (current estimate is $20 per person) and people will be responsible for purchasing individual drinks. David Redford is coordinating this party. David Redford is in charge of this event.
 
bulletSaturday events a tour of  Lamar for grads, family, and friends. Come see what the school looks like today! The indoor swimming pool is gone but the halls and stairs look and smell the same. The tour will be from 1 pm - 3 pm. Check with Ron Woliver if you want to help out.
 
bulletBIG dinner and dancing and entertainment party will be held at Lakeside Country Club in the evening. from 7 pm - 11 pm.  Entertainment and photographs are planned. There will be a buffet and open bar. Cost of the event will be between $110-$125 per person.  Gentlemen are asked to wear coats. Alicia Cagle and Charles Giraud are managing this.
 
bulletThe Committee is starting to talk about programs, name tags, entertainment, and all the details that will make the weekend special. Some of this could be done long distance. Any volunteers? Lead folks reside in Houston, but check with the event planners to offer your talents.
 
bulletThe Westchase Hilton has been selected as the reunion hotel.
