The current master list for the class includes 671 names. That's a decrease from 702 which was the working number in the Fall of 2005. Most names were removed because they were variants of names (a woman listed twice, once by maiden name and once by married name for example), thus some people were included twice. A few classmates who were in the class for only a year or two have asked to be included. The current total count seems reasonable given the number of names and photos in the 1958 Orenda and on class graduation programs.
Of these, 92% have now been found! Congratulations, Richard! Some 8% are STILL MISSING. A very small handful have declined to have their names included.
Of the classmates, about 15% are January graduates; 85%, June graduates.
Thanks to each of you who have taken some time to help us straighten out the duplicates and errors as well as making connections with friends to help ensure that a high percentage of us can be contacted about the 50th Reunion as those plans develop.

Do you remember? Here are the words to the Alma Mater:
Hail to Lamar, Alma Mater Dear,
Sing her joyful praise
Sound it far and near.
Rallying around her banner
We will never fail.
So to Lamar, Alma Mater
Sing Hail - Hail - Hail!
And to the "Fight Song?"
Fight Lamar forever, we will see you through
We'll defend your honor all brave and so true
Fight! Fight! Fight
Hail, Hail, the gang's all here
Sound your colors true
